The incident reminiscent of a previous occurrence with the club last season brought to light the arrest of former Almeria player, Alardín Hernández, by local police on December 5th, the previous Friday morning. His breathalyzer test came back positive after an incident. It is confirmed that he collided with three parked vehicles, followed by a crash with his black Porsche Cayenne at the entrance of his residential complex. Hernández was released and was able to train with the team in the morning, but ultimately left Almeria during the winter transfer window.
